On Wednesday, January 26, International Talk was held via Zoom as an activity of Global Lounge. Fifteen people, including students, faculty members, and staff participated in the activity.

Ms. GOZALY Angelita, a second-year undergraduate student, was invited as a speaker. She introduced her country "Indonesia" and talked about the rich culture, food, and beautiful nature of the country in English. Mr. ODAIRA Takuto, also a second-year undergraduate student, acted as MC for the event.

It was a great opportunity to learn many things about Indonesia. Angelita's wonderful presentation was further enhanced by a variety of attractive eye-catching images. Especially as it was around lunchtime, the pictures of local food she had showed us greatly stimulated the appetite of many viewers. She especially recommended "Rendang", beef dice slowly cooked for several hours in a blend of coconut milk and spices (see the picture below). Of course, it wasn't only the food that caught attention. The audience was fascinated by the exotic content such as Indonesia's clothes, houses, crafts, musical instruments, ceremony & entertainment, tourist destinations and dance competition footage.

The last dance video was a type of dance that many of the participants had never seen before, and they were all drawn into the video with their breath taken away by their beautifully synchronized movements. There were many other interesting things introduced that cannot be fully described on this page.　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　

After her wonderful presentation, a large number of participants asked her a lot of questions and said that they had a wonderful opportunity to get to know about Indonesia and that they must visit Indonesia to experience the unique and fascinating culture firsthand in the future.
